Pipeline Bodysurfing Classic Guide

The Pipeline Bodysurfing Classic puts bodysurfers in the lineup at the Banzai Pipeline. It is run by Pipeline World Games, Inc. with the North Shore Bodysurfing Club.

Waiting period: March 15–31, 2027 (North Shore Chamber calendar), a one-day contest
Venue: ʻEhukai Beach Park (Banzai Pipeline), North Shore Oʻahu
Who can enter: the latest posted entry page lists an Open division for pros and amateurs 18 and older, capped at 60 entrants

Divisions
Historically the Classic has included bodysurfing, handboard and paipo divisions for men and women. The most recent entry page lists the Open division only, so check the 2027 entry page when it goes up.
Costs
The latest posted fees are $90 in advance or $100 on the beach, cash or certified check only. Those are 2023 figures and may change for 2027.
