WSL announces 2026 Championship Tour schedule update

The World Surf League announced a 2026 Championship Tour schedule update after removing the Surf Abu Dhabi Pro due to current conditions and logistical limitations. The revised 2026 CT schedule includes 12 events and keeps the original CT format with three throwaways in the rankings. Regular season events listed are Bells Beach, Margaret River, Snapper Rocks, Raglan, Punta Roca, Saquarema, Teahupo’o, Cloudbreak, and Lower Trestles. The postseason begins with Peniche and Cloud 9, where the Top 22 men and Top 14 women will be decided before the tour concludes at Pipe Masters in Hawaii in December.
