Calling All Surfing Moms: Imua Moms Triple Crown Entries Close Oct 20

Moms, this one's for you! Imua Moms has opened the Triple Crown (Summer Edition), a surf contest for mother surfers at every level, in every ocean. Longboard or shortboard, any country. One submission is all it takes.

How it's judged

Each entry is scored in three parts, the "three crowns":

• The Wave (40%): how you ride it.

• The Story (30%): who you are as a surfing mother.

• The Spirit (30%): the heart you paddle out with.

So it's not only about the biggest turn. Your story and your aloha count for more than half the score.

Head to @imuamoms on Instagram and tap the link in their bio, or comment CROWN on their Triple Crown post and they'll send you the entry link. Their post has the full how-to-enter steps, so check the rules there before you film.

Why we love it

So many of our groms learned to surf from mom, and plenty of moms are still out there charging between school drop-offs. A contest that celebrates surfing mothers, their waves and their stories, is something we can get behind. If you know a surf mom, send this her way.
